Painted in Sulfur ink from the wild and scenic Klickitat River, copper scraps, and a puffball mushroom with many names; Dead Man’s Foot, Skullcap, Dyers Puffball, whatever you’d like to call it, it has a velvety suade texture to it.
Collected and made from materials around the Columbia River Gorge, and inspired by the shapes of the vast and forested landscape I live in. I want the inks to speak for themselves, which is why I like to keep the shape’s simple, knowing they will make new shapes as they interact with each other.
